18 Dog Treats
1 cup grated carrots
½ cup fresh or frozen blueberries
1½ cups oat flour (or finely blended oats)
1 large egg
2 tablespoons unsweetened applesauce
1 tablespoon coconut oil, melted
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, lightly mash the blueberries with a fork.
Add grated carrots, egg, applesauce, and melted coconut oil. Mix well.
Stir in the oat flour until a soft, slightly sticky dough forms.
Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to about ¼-inch thickness.
Cut into bone shapes (or any fun shape you like).
Place treats on the baking sheet and bake for 18–22 minutes, until firm and lightly golden.
Let cool completely before serving to your dog.
Store treats in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 7 days.
For longer storage, freeze them for up to 3 months and thaw as needed.
