Ingredients

  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup beef broth (low sodium)
  • 1/4 cup ground cooked beef
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

How To Make

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, combine whole wheat flour and rolled oats.
  3. Add the beef broth, ground beef, egg, and olive oil. Mix until a dough forms.
  4. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 1/4 inch thickness.
  5. Cut into bone shapes using a cookie cutter.
  6. Place treats on the tray and bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Let cool completely before serving.

How To Store

Store the treats in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days. For longer storage, keep them in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks or freeze them for up to 3 months.
