18 Dog Treats
2 ripe bananas (medium to large)
1½ cups oat flour (or rolled oats blended into flour)
1 egg
1 tablespoon coconut oil (melted)
1–2 tablespoons water (only if needed for dough consistency)
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
Add the egg and melted coconut oil, mixing well.
Gradually stir in the oat flour until a soft, workable dough forms. Add water only if the dough feels too dry.
Roll the dough out on a lightly floured surface to about ¼-inch thickness.
Use a bone-shaped cookie cutter (or a knife) to cut out treats.
Place treats on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20–25 minutes, until lightly golden and firm.
Let treats cool completely before serving to your dog.
Store the cooled banana dog treats in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 7 days. For longer storage, freeze them for up to 3 months and thaw as needed.
Small dogs: 1 small treat per day
Medium dogs: 1–2 treats per day
Large dogs: 2–3 treats per day
Always adjust treat portions based on your dog’s size, diet, and activity level.
