When I first made these Pumpkin Peanut Butter & Oat treats, I just wanted something quick, healthy, and safe for my golden retriever, Max.
He was staring at me from the kitchen floor, tail wagging, while I mixed the ingredients — and before I even finished rolling the first batch, he was already sitting politely, waiting for his taste test.
The best part? These no-bake bites take only a few minutes to make, use simple pantry ingredients, and store beautifully in the fridge. Now they’ve become our go-to “good boy” snack after walks.
I hope your pup loves them just as much as Max does! 🐾💛

1 cup pumpkin purée (plain, unsweetened)
½ cup natural peanut butter (xylitol-free)
2 ½ cups rolled oats
¼ cup honey (optional for extra sweetness)
1 tsp ground cinnamon
Prepare ingredients.
Mix all ingredients in a bowl until thick and sticky.
Bonus Tip: If your mix feels too sticky, add a few more oats.
Roll the mixture into small, bite-sized balls using your hands or a small cookie scoop.
Place the balls onto a plate, tray, or a sheet of parchment paper. Refrigerate for about 1 hour, or until the treats are firm.
Once chilled, the treats are ready to serve. Give your pup 1–3 treats per day (depending on their size). Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days or freeze for up to 1 month.
