Prep time

10 minutes

Cook time

0 minutes (freezer only)

Ingredients

  • 1 cup pure pumpkin purée (unsweetened, not pumpkin pie filling)

  • 1 cup unsweetened applesauce

  • ½ cup plain Greek yogurt (xylitol-free)

  • 1–2 tablespoons water (optional, for easier blending)

How to make

  • Add the pumpkin purée, applesauce, and Greek yogurt to a blender or mixing bowl.

  • Blend or stir until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy.

  • If the mixture is too thick, add water one tablespoon at a time until pourable.

  • Pour the mixture into silicone molds, ice cube trays, or bone-shaped molds.

  • Place the molds in the freezer for at least 4 hours, or until fully frozen.

  • Pop the treats out of the molds and they’re ready to serve.

How to store

Store the frozen dog treats in an airtight container or freezer-safe bag in the freezer. They will stay fresh for up to 2 months. Always return unused treats to the freezer to maintain texture and freshness.

Serving sizes

  • Small dogs: 1 small treat

  • Medium dogs: 1–2 treats

  • Large dogs: 2–3 treats

Serve as an occasional treat, not a meal replacement. Always supervise your dog while enjoying frozen snacks.
