18 Dog Treats
1 ripe banana
1 cup plain unsweetened yogurt (Greek or regular)
2 tablespoons natural peanut butter (xylitol-free)
½ cup blueberries
¼ cup finely grated carrot
½ cup water (optional, for blending consistency)
Prepare the ingredients
Peel the banana and measure the yogurt, peanut butter, blueberries, and grated carrot.
Blend the mixture
In a blender or food processor, combine the banana, yogurt, peanut butter, blueberries, and carrot. Blend until smooth.
Adjust texture if needed
If the mixture is too thick, add a small amount of water and blend again.
Fill the molds
Pour the mixture into silicone bone-shaped molds or ice cube trays.
Freeze
Place the molds in the freezer for about 2–3 hours or until completely solid.
Serve
Remove the frozen treats from the molds and serve one to your dog on a hot day.
Store the frozen treats in an airtight container or freezer-safe bag in the freezer. They will stay fresh for up to 2 months when properly stored.
For best texture, keep them frozen until ready to serve. If the treats begin to soften, simply return them to the freezer.
Serving size depends on your dog's size:
Small dogs (under 20 lbs): ½ treat
Medium dogs (20–50 lbs): 1 treat
Large dogs (50–90 lbs): 1–2 treats
Extra large dogs (90+ lbs): 2 treats
Treats should make up no more than 10% of your dog’s daily calories.
