Ingredients

  • 1 cup 100% pumpkin puree (not pie filling!)
  • 🥚 1 egg

  • 🌾 1½ cups oat flour (blend rolled oats if you don’t have it)

  • 🥜 2 tbsp xylitol-free peanut butter (smooth or crunchy — go wild)

  • 🥥 1 tbsp coconut oil (optional but adds moisture and coat shine)

  • 🍯 1 tsp honey (optional, for a touch of natural sweetness)

  • 🌿 Sprinkle of cinnamon (optional — skip if your dog has sensitivities)

  • A tiny pinch of cinnamon (optional holiday aroma)

Directions

Step 1 – Preheat & Prepare

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2 – Combine Wet Ingredients

In a bowl, stir together pumpkin puree, egg, peanut butter, coconut oil, and honey until smooth.

Step 3 – Mix & Knead

Pour in oat flour and mix until it forms a soft dough. If it’s sticky, sprinkle a bit more flour.

Step 4 – Shape the Treats

Dust your surface with oat flour and roll the dough to about ¼ inch thick. Use a bone, heart, or leaf-shaped cookie cutter (because you’re that kind of extra). Use a bone, heart, or leaf-shaped cookie cutter (because you’re that kind of extra).

Step 5 – Bake & Cool

Bake for 20–25 minutes or until the edges are slightly golden. Cool completely before handing one to your dog. (Seriously, don’t rush it. Burnt tongues = betrayal.)
