Finn is the kind of dog who knows when I’m in the kitchen for him. The second he sees me reach for the pumpkin can, he’s already sitting like a good boy — ears forward, eyes sparkling.
These recipes were born out of my frustration with overpriced treats filled with preservatives. I wanted clean, nourishing options that could be made in one bowl. Now Finn gets snacks that actually support his health — and I get to skip the guilt.

In this video, watch a step-by-step tutorial on how to make Dog Treats Pumpkin and Banana
✅ Use natural peanut butter without xylitol
✅ Always check yogurt is plain and unsweetened
✅ Use BPA-free silicone molds for freezing
🚫 Don’t use pumpkin pie mix — it contains nutmeg, which is toxic to dogs
🚫 Avoid aluminum bakeware for anything you’ll serve regularly
🚫 Don’t serve frozen treats straight from the freezer to very young or senior dogs (let thaw a few minutes)
Soft Pumpkin Banana Bones:
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days
Refrigerate to keep fresh up to 10 days
Freeze for up to 3 months — just let them thaw for 10 minutes before serving
Frozen Pumpkin Banana Bites:
Store in freezer-safe zip-top bags or containers
Keeps well for 3–4 months
Use parchment between layers to prevent sticking
Serve one at a time or crumble over meals
Pro Tip: Make double batches and store half for later — batch-prepping treats saves time, money, and reduces stress when you need a quick reward or distraction.
Dough too sticky? Add more oat flour, one spoonful at a time.
Treats too soft after baking? Bake for an additional 5–7 minutes. Let them fully cool to firm up.
Frozen treats won’t release from molds? Run warm water under the mold for a few seconds and try again.
Your dog won’t eat them? Try adding a teaspoon of peanut butter or crumbling over meals until they acquire the taste.
Treats are drying out fast? Store in an airtight container and avoid refrigeration without a sealed bag.

Maya + Bruno 🐶
“These treats helped Bruno’s digestion and we’ve noticed he scratches less, too. Plus he loves them chilled after walks!”
Grant H. 🐾
“We used the FreshFur Shower Brush before snack time and Finn was calm, happy, and clean. 10/10.”
Lina S. 🦡
“These are a staple now. I bake a batch, freeze half, and always have some on hand for when Finn gets that ‘I’ve been good’ face.”
Every banana I mash, every tray I pop into the oven — it’s all for Finn. These small gestures say: I see you. I love you. And I want you to be around for a long, healthy time.
So whether you're baking or freezing, remember — it's more than a snack. It's your care, in edible form.
