Dog Treats in the Air Fryer Are a Quick, Healthy & Homemade

Making dog treats in the air fryer is one of the easiest ways to spoil your pup with something healthy and homemade. These treats require simple pantry ingredients, cook fast, and come out perfectly crisp without the mess or long bake times of traditional oven recipes.

Ingredients
1 cup oat flour (or blended rolled oats)
¼ cup natural peanut butter (xylitol-free)
1 large egg
2 tablespoons unsweetened applesauce
2–3 tablespoons water (as needed for dough consistency)
How to Make
In a medium bowl, mix the oat flour, peanut butter, egg, and applesauce until a dough forms.
Add water one tablespoon at a time if the dough feels too dry.
Roll the dough out on a lightly floured surface to about ¼-inch thickness.
Cut into bone shapes or small squares using a cookie cutter or knife.
Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
Place the treats in a single layer in the air fryer basket, leaving space between them.
Air fry for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway, until lightly golden and firm.
Let cool completely before serving to your dog.
