If you’ve ever baked treats for your own dog and seen their tail wag with pure joy, you’ve already discovered the magic ingredient that makes them sell: love + health .

When I started baking for my dog Milo , my friends began asking for orders. At first, I just gave them away. But then I realized: people love buying treats when they know they’re homemade, healthy, and safe.

Today, I’m sharing two brand-new recipes that are perfect for selling — easy to make in batches, affordable, and visually appealing so they stand out at any market table or online shop.

Recipe 1 – Coconut Carrot Glow Bites

Perfect for: Boosting skin & coat health (great selling point)
Shelf-life: 2–3 weeks at room temperature

Ingredients (Makes ~35 medium bites)

  • 1 ½ cups oat flour

  • ½ cup shredded unsweetened coconut

  • ½ cup finely grated carrots

  • 2 tbsp coconut oil (melted)

  • ¼ cup unsweetened applesauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F) and line a baking tray.

  2. Mix shredded coconut, grated carrots, and oat flour in a bowl.

  3. Stir in coconut oil and applesauce until a soft dough forms.

  4. Roll into small balls or press into paw/heart silicone molds.

  5. Bake 15–18 minutes until firm.

  6. Cool completely before packaging.

Recipe 2 – Blueberry Breath Fresheners

Perfect for: Dogs who need fresher breath (another great sales hook)
Shelf-life: 1–2 weeks refrigerated, 2 months frozen

Ingredients (Makes ~50 small bone-shaped treats)

  • 1 tbsp finely chopped fresh parsley

  • 1 egg

  • 2 tbsp water if needed

Instructions

  2. Mash blueberries and combine with parsley.

  3. Add flour and egg, mixing until dough forms (add water if dry).

  4. Roll out and cut with bone cookie cutters or press into silicone molds.

  5. Bake 15–17 minutes for soft, or 20 for crunchy.

  6. Cool completely before packing.
