½ cup rolled oats
½ cup unsweetened natural peanut butter (xylitol-free)
1 ripe banana, mashed
1 large egg
¼ cup unsweetened applesauce
¼ cup water (or low-sodium chicken broth)
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a small cake pan or bone-shaped silicone mold.
In a large bowl, mix mashed banana, peanut butter, egg, and applesauce until smooth.
Stir in whole wheat flour and oats.
