10 minutes
25 minutes
1 cup unsweetened plain yogurt (no xylitol)
1 cup finely grated apple (peeled and cored)
2½ cups oat flour (or finely ground oats)
1 egg
1 tablespoon coconut oil (melted)
1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, mix the yogurt, grated apple, egg, and melted coconut oil until well combined.
Gradually add the oat flour and cinnamon, stirring until a soft, workable dough forms.
Roll the dough out on a lightly floured surface to about ¼-inch thickness.
Cut into desired shapes (bone-shaped cutters work great).
Place treats on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them slightly apart.
Bake for 22–25 minutes, or until firm and lightly golden.
Allow treats to cool completely before serving.
Once fully cooled, store the treats in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 7 days. For longer storage, freeze them for up to 3 months and thaw as needed.
Small dogs: 1 treat per day
Medium dogs: 1–2 treats per day
Large dogs: Up to 3 treats per day
Always adjust based on your dog’s size, activity level, and overall diet.
