1 cup whole wheat flour (or oat flour for sensitive tummies)
½ cup unsweetened applesauce
½ cup finely grated carrot
¼ cup natural peanut butter (xylitol-free)
1 egg
1–2 tablespoons water (as needed)
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a bowl, mix applesauce, grated carrot, peanut butter, and egg until smooth.
Gradually add flour and stir to form a soft dough. Add water a tablespoon at a time if needed.
Roll dough to about ¼-inch thickness and cut into fun shapes.
Place treats on the baking sheet and bake for 18–22 minutes, until lightly golden and firm.
Cool completely on a rack before serving.
